09-02-28, New BSPs
The CoreExpress-ECO evaluation kit is now available with two new board support packages (BSPs).
Windows CE

The CoreExpress-ECO Evaluation Kit comes with a full featured Windows CE 6.0 system running directly from IDE.
DOS is no longer necessary for loading in between. This significantly
reduces the required start-up times.
This complete BSP covers all functions of the CoreExpress-ECO ,
including 1280x800 graphics output on LVDS, audio, Ethernet, serial, USB and SD card support.
The documentation for installing and running the system from several IDE boot media
is provided, too.
QNX

In collaboration with QNX, LiPPERT developed a board support package for QNX Neutrino, supporting Fastboot IPL. With
this BSP, an embedded system boots blindingly fast, in a mere 4 seconds, directly into the graphical application.
This behaviour greatly improves user experience and satisfaction.
The BSP comes with full support for video output on LVDS, audio, serial, Ethernet, and USB.
The QNX IPL bootloader replaces the standard BIOS and initializes all features of the CoreExpress-ECO evaluation kit.
In addition the customer's application may be added to any boot device like USB or IDE, starting a QNX 6.4.0 system instantly.
09-01-14, CoreExpress-ECO now supports SDHC
The CoreExpress-ECO's BIOS is now capable of booting from SDHC ports. Booting from SD cards is hence possible.
08-09-02, 2GB RAM tested on CoreExpress-ECO
LiPPERTs Atom-based Advanced COM-Modules CoreExpress™-ECO now handle up to two Gigabytes RAM, opening opportunities for completely new mobile embedded PC applications.
